Tech sets the tempo, but people bring the atmosphere

Fresh off our 10th birthday, there’s no sign of slowing (yet!) here at VW. Last week we attended the Global Coworking Unconference Conference, where one theme resonated strongly: the future of workspaces is about connection.

We see it.

More and more people are recognising that working alongside others isn’t just about having a desk. Human connection matters, and it’s the one thing that can’t be downloaded from the app store. As professionals return to shared workspaces, or try them for the first time, many are seeking something they long for while working from home: belonging.

We were inspired by the keynote from Alderman James Vos, City of Cape Town Mayoral Committee Member, and the City’s focus on creating the right conditions to encourage economic prosperity. It deepened our own sense of purpose and reinforced our commitment to creating spaces that hold local entrepreneurial communities together.

Tech sets the tempo, but people bring the atmosphere. After a decade in business, we know where we’re headed.

Come join us!

This month, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on RDW Mundial, our Venture Workspace Constantia member specialising in pit-to-port logistics for chrome and commodities across Southern Africa.

Their small, hands-on team stays closely involved in every operation, allowing them to respond quickly when things change and keep cargo moving efficiently.
