Founded in 2016, Venture Workspace was born from a simple yet powerful hunch: the traditional, rigid city-centre office was losing its grip on modern workplace culture. Long before the global shift to hybrid working, our founders recognised a growing need for flexible, ready-to-use, and profoundly human-centred environments. More importantly, they understood the daily toll of rush-hour traffic and asked a vital question: How do we create professional workspaces closer to home?

Our journey began at the Villagers Rugby Club in Claremont. By pioneering the movement of co-working spaces into the suburbs, we provided professionals with a highly accessible alternative to congested inner-city commutes. The hunch proved correct, and within six months, our first 1,000-square-metre location was fully subscribed.

Over the past decade, Venture Workspace has successfully expanded to premium locations across Cape Town (Claremont, Constantia, Somerset West, and our expansive Riverlands site in Observatory).  We weathered the storms of the pandemic and emerged stronger than ever, perfectly positioned for the modern workforce. Recently, our commitment to redefining the office experience was honoured with a Cape Tourism award for Best Co-working Business.
